Perhaps the greatest test of love is the way we act in times of need.

In January of 2025, the Los Angeles area and its communities were devastated by wildfires that forced more than 200,000 people to evacuate, and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and structures. The wildfires burned over 57,000 acres of land in total, and the deaths and damage to property from these fires made them some of the most destructive fires in California history.

Despite the toll of the fires, the citizens of Los Angeles have come together to provide support, aid, and relief to those in need. And when it was time to step up to the plate to do his part, Dr. Dan did not hesitate to do all he could to help.

Taking place at the Braemar Country Club, and hosted by Los Angeles Laker legend Bryon Scott, the Fairways for Fire Relief Golf Tournament was held on February 10th in order to help raise money for those affected by the fires. In addition to the golf tournament, a pickleball tournament was established to help bring in more donations. Here, Dr. Dan was able to use his connections and bring in all the players needed to fill the pickleball tournament.

In the end, over $100,000 was raised in which 100 percent of it was given directly to helping families displaced by the fires.
